Theater

  • Dec 2022 , Bottled Up, a dystopian stage play by Wemove Theatre. Position : writer and actor. The play explored the idea of a dystopian future where people use pills to feel emotions. I wrote the script and played a small part in it.

  • May-June 2019, Bakasura, a political satire stage play by Samahaara Theatre cooperative. Position: actor. Performed in multiple theaters across Hyderabad and at a Telugu Theatre festival held at the Telangana Saraswatha Parishad, Hyderabad.

  • May-June 2019, Saari Raat, a Hindi psychological stage play by Samahaara Theatre cooperative. Position: actor and writer. The play was adapted from an old Hindi work of a much longer duration and original poetry was added.

  • Kalaripayattu (south indian martial arts)  trained practitioner

Past residencies

  • Buinho Artist in Residence September 2024. I worked on my novel in verse called “red and the ocean” about the meaning of love and meaning in a post-apocalyptic world.

  • Source of performance energy acting residency by Adishakti Theater Lab 2023. Worked on breath, emotion and rhythm as tools for an actor’s repertoire.
